MXPTV visited the island of St. Martin to cover a truly unique motocross event called the MX Day Outdoor Series. This 2 day event provided an open practice session on Saturday as Sunday shown off the fast lap times with super qualification and 2 sets of motos. 4 classes total filled the gates at MX Day with Open Bikes, Mini Bikes, 85cc Bikes, and Quads hitting the track. The event invited some top names from the United States such as multi-time Womens’ motocross champion Jessica Patterson, Pennsylvania privateer Dustin Kendall, and amateur Matt Boyer. Also, Franklin Nogueras of the Dominican Republic competed at the event and won the premier Open Bike class in dramatic fashion. The Maryland Des States provided both motocross and supercross racing at the Budds Creek and Potomac Speedway facilities last weekend. The 250 B and Schoolboy 4 Stroke classes on Friday shown some great battles in supercross. Check it out!

Saturday kicked off the action on Budds Creek’s famed motocross track for the Maryland Des States championship event. But it came with a large amount of rain and mud that drenched the track all day long. The conditions were so bad that 85cc riders and under were not allowed to race on Saturday! The Maryland Des States championship event at the Budds Creek MX Park in Budds Creek, Maryland was broken up into supercross and motocross and combined to crown the Maryland Des States champion in each class.
