The 2010 racing season is here in the Mid-Atlantic region after a horrible winter that brought in a number of blizzard-filled Nor’easters and leaving over a few feet of snow on lots of race tracks in the region. Â Now with March arriving and spring about to kickstart its way into this year, that means the Mid-Atlantic Motocross Association (MAMA) is ready to kick off their 2010 season! Â MAMA is known to be one of the top premier family oriented motocross series in the Northeast and had a great 2009 season with great support from the racers, their families, and the sponsors’ overwhelming support. Â The first round of the MAMA series is this weekend at MAMA’s home track, Budds Creek MX Park in Budds Creek, Maryland, on March 20-21. Â The series covers the entire Mid-Atlantic region with races in Delaware, Maryland, Virginia, and now has expanded to West Virginia with 2 new tracks on the 2010 schedule. Â MAMA is focused on the youth riders in motocross providing a widely expanded list of classes that feature skill level classes for every bike size and fun, family events for each round. Â MAMA also offers factory contingencies from Yamaha, Kawasaki, and Suzuki, and numerous prizes and awards for fastest lap times, thanks to their advanced transponder system, holeshots, and more.
After a successful year of covering a couple MAMA events in 2009, MXPTV is back again for 2010 covering a number of MAMA rounds this year, starting with the first round at Budds Creek this weekend! Â MXPTV will be providing video coverage from each day of events from the events we cover, which include the Saturday practice and race days to Sunday’s full race program. Â Add in photo reports from each day of racing and podcast interviews with the top riders of the weekend to the sponsors of the series and you got a well covered race weekend! Â For 2010, MXPTV is scheduled for 3 races that include this weekend’s Budds Creek race, May 8-9 at Tomahawk MX Park, and October 23-24 at Middleford Speedway.
Also, MXPTV is providing video services to all racers for the MAMA races MXPTV attends such as Rider Profiles, Rider Sessions, and Helmet Cam videos. Â This is a great way to either get video of yourself for you to have or be featured on MXPTV! Â For more information about pricing and scheduling, send MXPTV an email at woz@mxptv.com.
