When I woke up Sunday morning and checked the weather, I went back to bed for a couple hours! Rain headed towards Cato, rain already at Pavilion’s hare scramble and rain hitting and missing Cohocton MX made sleeping in pretty easy. Once breakfast was over and the sun started to re-appear I made the dash a short 15 to 20 minutes down I 390 to Cohocton MX to visit with the Sick Brothers latest creation. With lots of options for dirt bike racers this week-end, these guys still pulled in a good crowd, factor in the rainy weather forecast and these guys and gals turned into die hard mx’ers as the day wore on. The Sick Brothers [Matt & Dave] have turned this naturally hilly landscape into eye candy ready to tear into whether its at their weekly Thursday night practices or at 1 of their 7 WNYRacing sanctioned events. The rain held off until about 1PM when we started the whip contest to benefit injured rider Allyn Bixby. Congratulations to Kyle Jackson for throwing down some sick whips to win it all! Pics will be here late tonight: http://larrywooster.zenfolio.
Big uphills pull all those horses out of hiding in every dirt scooter here while the sweeping downhill corners test brakes and tires alike. Check them out athttp://www.sickbrosonline.com/
