MXPTV caught up with Only One Inspiration’s Harold Glissen after his nasty racing accident at Hog Heaven MX on January 15th. Harold talks about how the injury happened, how his rehabilitation is going so far, and his future in the sport.
You are the man. Years ago I used to think look at that guy that’s amazing and he’s fast. You are a great person too. We need more people like you. God bless you and heal fast.
Good stuff man. This motocross world is full of great supporters and everyone looks out for fellow riders!!! The owner of Hog Heaven MX is one heck of a good too as well!!! Hope you heal fast and have a speedy recovery. #927
Hey Harold. Glad to see that you are doing so well. Attitude and determination certainly will help in the healing process and you have both. I wish you a speedy recovery and am keeping you in my thoughts.
I remember watching you race when I raced the sixth district (mostly Englishtown and Sleepy Hollow) in the late 70s, early 80s. You were always up front in contention despite your handicap. You were an inspiration and apparently still are. Damn happy you are still at it! I stopped after a concussion at Englishtown in 1983. Figured I had to focus on college and my career. Guy Camioni broke his back on the restart after I took the last ambulance out. I will keep you in my prayers for a full and speedy recovery.
